Michaela Dillon admires an especially tempting looking pumpkin at Maria High School’s recent Spring Art Showcase. The 6-year-old niece of Margaret Hayes, assistant principal at Maria, is a first-grader at St. Linus Elementary School. Michaela was visiting Maria to enjoy the many works of showcased fine and applied art and to take in the final performance of “The Wiz,” which Ms. Hayes was directing. The art show’s display of gourds and pumpkins, done in watercolors, was the work of Jennifer Glaz’s Art I students. Picture |
