At the recent Maria High School Snow Ball Dinner Dance, Board Chair Gary Pater and General Superior Sr. Immacula Wendt, SSC, present the Maria Kaupas Award to the Rev. Bruce Wellems, CMF. The other Maria Kaupas Award recipient was the Daniel Murphy Scholarship fund. Maria High School is pleased to announce that its 14th annual Snow Ball was the most successful in the history of the event. Held at the Oak Brook Drury Lane on January 16, the dinner dance’s net profit showed a 115 percent increase from last year. The entire proceeds from Snow Ball 2010 will be applied toward enhancing the educational experiences of Maria’s outstanding young women. The Sisters of St. Casimir, who sponsor Maria, the Maria Board of Directors, and the entire Maria family were blessed by, and are most appreciative of, the kind generosity shown by all the attendees and supporters of Snow Ball 2010. Snow Ball’s success also would not have been possible without the dedication of the entire Maria family, including the Board of Directors and the Snow Ball committees.
