Students Observe World AIDS Day with Service

To observe World AIDS Day, the Maria High School American Red Cross Club recently joined with Campus Minister Judy Bumbul’s Peer Ministry class in sponsoring an outdoor prayer service for AIDS/HIV victims. Other classes were also invited to attend. Principal Margaret M. Hayes (pictured, right) helped faculty member Mary Eileen Dalcamo tie a red ribbon around a tree near the school building while students and teachers looked on. Other trees along the front of the building were also decorated with red ribbons.
