Social Studies
The goal of the Social Studies Department at Maria High School is to help foster the development of involved young women who give witness to Christian values. The Social Studies Department offers an opportunity for a strong college preparatory curriculum that includes advanced placement classes. Through the study of History, Global Studies, Political Science, Psychology, and Sociology, the Social Studies department hopes to encourage the young women of Maria to be leaders who will make a positive difference in our world.
