World Languages Department
The World Language Department provides students with the
necessary skills to communicate and interact with people of various ethnic
backgrounds. By requiring students to learn a second language, we not
only prepare them to express themselves intelligently with citizens of another
culture, but we also promote the Christian values of tolerance and respect for,
and understanding of the diverse and multilingual world community in which our students
live. In addition, the skills acquired through the study of another
language give our students greater access to the many jobs which require
bilingual employees.
