The Maria High School Student Council is the MIND, HEART, and HANDS of school activities promoting leadership, respect, responsibility, service, spirit, education, attitude, and recreation.
The Maria High School Student Council is an organized group of students meeting with the purpose of sharing in the life of the school. It is students solving real problems by making important decisions and speaking on honest concerns. It is a democracy where each student’s voice needs to be respected and heard. It is the responsibility of each officer, representative, and alternate to share the students’ voices and to assist in carrying out the wishes of the student body through activities that help to improve our school. It is learning what Maria High School is all about and how we can work together to reach our shared goals.
Some activities the Student Council plans are: dances, pep rallies, talent show, and spirit week.
